Volvo signs two-year endorsement deal with Jeremy Lin

Jeremy Lin is one of the hottest players in the NBA right now, and along with fame comes endorsement deals. The New York Knicks star recently signed a two-year contract with Volvo to promote the Swedish automaker in the U.S., China and Chinese-language markets in Asia, according to Bloomberg. Lin is the first Chinese-American to play in the NBA, and the rising star's decision to stick with Volvo shows he has not yet let fame go to his head.

"Growing up, I never had the super luxurious cars or watches or whatever it may be," Lin told the news source. "Being able to find a car company that has a high quality but is also affordable and relatable was very important to me."

The Associated Press reports "Linsanity" will begin to reach Volvo commercials and other advertisements as early as June. Whether buyers are swayed by the athlete's endorsements or they opt for other brands, the key to driving an all-star vehicle is getting regular car maintenance and oil changes. This way, cars will perform as well on the road as Jeremy Lin does on the court.
