Hugh Laurie, the star of the hit television series "House," was spotted driving around his 1966 Ford Galaxie convertible, reports Celebrity Cars Blog.

Laurie was photographed in Los Angeles with the top down enjoying a sunny day on the west coast. The blog said the car "fits him pretty well,' referring to Laurie's classic style.

The car has a distinct '60s feel to it, with wing-tip tail lights, leather seats and vertical stitching. Chrome wheels and a classic Ford grille bring the vehicle together nicely.

In 1966, Ford released nineteen different models that embodied one of the seven "body designations," created by the automaker, according to Dearborn Classics. In addition, the manufacturer offered eight choices of engine, including the Thunderbird V-8, available only on the Galaxie 7-liter model.

"This model is well-known for its clean lines and many performance options," concludes the classic car experts.

HowStuffWorks.com, however, said that despite its great versatility when it comes to options, the body was not very agile. Also, it's not quite "mature" enough to be considered a collectible. Now that Laurie's been snapped driving one around, we're sure that's going to change.
