The world's prettiest cars as judged by MSN Auto

January 6, 2011 12:00 AM

Everyone loves a pretty car, but most of them are so expensive you need to win the lottery to buy one.

The folks at MSN Autos have decided to deflate our egos even more by showcasing the sexiest and nicest cars on the road today.

Smooth like James Bond, the Aston Martin DBS is a prime example of how a car should look. The low-to-the-ground feel combined with a powerful engine and top speed of 191 mph make this car one to show off.

Named after the automaker's test track, the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano is styled in after the classic front-engine vehicles from the 60s.

One of the biggest surprises on the list (and certainly the cheapest) is the Hyundai Elantra. We're not sure why it's considered more beautiful than some cars left off the list, but presumably its streamline-design and "bright" coat helped find its way into the editors' hearts.

Of course, no list of beautiful cars is complete without a Maserati, so say hello to the GranCabrio, which MSN describes as "sharklike" and suggests it "oozes pure class and elegance."

A total of ten cars were named to the list, but these were the ones we found most important and interesting.
