Black Friday saw many people waiting in line at their favorite stores in the early morning hours for big savings, but Paris Hilton didn't have to set up camp before the sun came up to score her Black Friday purchase. The celebrity heiress chose the day after Thanksgiving to buy the car she's always wanted, even though it didn't qualify for any Black Friday sale - a Ferrari.
"Paris has always wanted a red Ferrari ever since being a little girl," an inside source told E! News. "She is a huge tomboy at heart and loves fast cars and bikes. She even has her own MotoGP racing team."
Her new car, a 2012 Ferrari California, cost a cool $280,000, according to The Daily Mail. The Italian automaker proclaims that the Ferrari California is the first grand tourer with a mid-front 8-cylinder engine. The engine is capable of generating more than 450 horsepower and 357 lb-ft. of torque, and it can push the car from zero to 60 in under four seconds. It also features Bremco brakes that use carbon-ceramic material to guarantee that Paris will be able to stop short if the paparazzi jump in front of her while she is driving her new ride.
Even if she does damage the expensive ride, there's no doubt that Paris will easily be able to have auto maintenance performed right away so she can get back to driving.
