Buying a car for the family can be difficult - whether it's the budget, the amount of space needed or the simple fact that mini vans will never look cool, sometimes a little help is needed making a decision when purchasing a new vehicle.

As always, MSN Auto is here to help you choose between the "10 Ferocious Family Cars," which includes some very luxurious and stylish vehicles and others that are cheaper but no less cool.

The Audi S4 sedan might be small, but there's plenty of storage room, writes the news source. The cargo hold can expand from 12 to 34 cubic feet when flipping down the rear seat backs, perfect for all those groceries and sports gear while the kids take the bus home. The BMW X5/X6, Ford Taurus SHO and Jaguar XFR are also similarly spacious for a sedan, perfect for a family of three or four.

In conclusion, "a collection of cars possessed of exceptional style and performance that are also decently spacious and practical. Granted, none of these autos will assuage your environmental conscience, but each will prove reasonably frugal when driven gently."

Other cars mentioned include the Cadillac CTS-V Sport Wagon, the Land Rover Range Rover Sport Supercharged and the Ford Flex EcoBoost.
