Chrysler gets ads ready for Super Bowl

Chrysler has made an impression with its Super Bowl ads throughout the past few years, and if the manufacturer has its way the 2013 event will be no different.

The automaker announced that it will launch several new ad campaigns in the coming weeks, all leading up to the Super Bowl spots in February. Using the tagline "Guts, Glory, Ram," the commercials will promote the 2013 Ram 1500.

Chrysler has been placing an emphasis on the promotion of the Ram brand ever since it was split from Dodge in 2009, reports the Detroit Free Press. Market share has increased for the truck brand since that time, even as truck drivers remain increasingly loyal to automakers. Ram has been offering upgraded, customizable features and auto repair services in an effort to gain new customers, and many of these services will be on display in the new ads.

The campaign will feature a theme of "Heaven and Earth," and will show situations speaking to the lengths that Ram will go to satisfy drivers. It will air a lot during the Major League Baseball playoffs and the World Series, with the culmination coming at the Super Bowl.

According to Michigan Live, the ads are aimed at growing the brand within Hispanic communities. The commercials will be aired in English as well as Spanish, with the latter featuring Latin musician Juanes. This campaign is set to air on Hispanic television networks and print ads will run in Spanish newspapers and magazines.
