Chevrolet drivers may be familiar with the tagline "Chevy runs deep," which has been a part of the automaker's ad campaigns since 2010. But as the brand continues to evolve its slogan needs to change with it, which is why the manufacturer is hoping its new phrase of "Find new roads" will make an impression.
The new slogan will be featured throughout Chevrolet's 13 new models debuting in the U.S. in 2013, as well as another 20 introductions in various global cities, The Detroit Free Press reports. If all goes well for the company, the change will help boost its international sales, which have lagged behind the rest of the industry despite the brand's critically-praised auto repair and redesigns on recent models.
"Find New Roads embraces the spirit of ingenuity that has been in Chevrolet's DNA since the beginning and it will continue to guide every aspect of our business moving forward," said Mary Barra, a senior vice president for the manufacturer. "We have sold Chevrolets around the world for almost a century, but this is the first time we have aligned behind one global vision."
