Some cars enjoy robust sales and plenty of critical praise, but there are just as many that have failed to catch on with the general public. Cars.com recently highlighted some vehicles that have not sold well but still offer excellent quality for new car shoppers.
"Good products usually sell themselves, but that's not always the reality," said Cars.com executive editor, Joe Wiesenfelder. "There are so many great options on the market and these 10 vehicles are no exception. Our editors recommend that car shoppers research and test drive these models if they're already shopping for similar cars. They might even get a good deal because these are not moving off lots as fast as some of their competitors."
The list included the Hyundai Genesis, Kia Optima, Chevrolet Volt, Ford Flex, Dodge Challenger, Suzuki Kizashi and the entire Mazda fleet, among others.
Drivers planning on trading in their current vehicle for one of these overlooked gems should make sure that their old car is in good condition. Keeping up with scheduled maintenance and taking care of any nagging auto repairs can help drivers raise the value of their trade.
