Being named to Car and Driver's annual "10Best" list is one of the more prestigious awards in the industry, as this honor usually makes its way into just about every piece of advertising for a model if the car was good enough to obtain it. This year's list, which was revealed recently by the publication, covers a broad spectrum of both luxury and non-luxury vehicles.

In terms of affordable models, cars like the Honda Fit, Volkswagen Golf and Mazda MX-5 Miata made up of a good chunk of the list. Of course, sedans were also well represented, in the form of the Ford Focus and Honda Accord. The remaining part of the list was made up of luxury vehicles, such as the Audi A6, Porsche Boxster, Cadillac CTS-V, Ford Mustang GT and the BMW 3-Series, which made its record-breaking 21st appearance in a row on the list.

No matter what model you own, it can't perform at its best unless you pay close attention to auto maintenance. Regular visits to an expert for things like brake service and radiator flush & fills can really make a difference in both the performance and lifespan of a vehicle.
