Batman-inspired car built for charity

It may not be the Batmobile, but for many drivers it may be as close as it's going to get. Comic book creators DC Entertainment teamed up with Kia to create a Batman-inspired Optima for a charity campaign, which Motor Trend reports is just the first of eight vehicles that will pay tribute to the iconic Justice League characters.
Kia's version of the Batmobile features a dark matte paint job with yellow LED lighting accents to draw on the superhero's customary suit. The tires are 20-inch black alloys, but passersby may be too distracted by the Batman-shaped grill and bat signal etchings to notice the details. The interior boasts customized yellow and black leather seats, complete with Batman logos, and throwing stars in the center console.

The campaign, dubbed "We Can Be Heroes," helps raise awareness of hunger in Africa. Automobiles inspired by Batman's comrades will be rolling out over the course of the next ten months at comic-cons and auto shows around the country, reports Comic Book Resources. Each car will be auctioned off to raise money for We Can Be Heroes.

With so many unique elements, this Kia Optima SX Limited is the perfect ride for aspiring vigilantes - or really big Batman fans.
