2012 Audi Q5 Hybrid Quattro: A Review

MSN Autos has released its review of the 2012 Audi Q5 Hybrid Quattro and they appear to have some praise for the vehicle.

"The hybrid powertrain is the future of 4-wheeled transport," begins the experts. And while many of these current models are "boring and lackluster to drive," Audi seems to be attempting to show this needn't be the case.

Audi's Q5 has a 2.0-liter TFSI 4-cylinder engine meshed with a 44-horsepower electric motor. It comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission and the combined engine-motor effect results in 241 horses and 354 ft-lb of torque.

According to MSN, Audi believes their newest model is the "sportiest hybrid SUV around." The critics agree to an extent - within the midsize SUV segment, the Q5 is indeed, quite possibly, the "sportiest."

The interior is spacious, as most Audi vehicles are, with plenty of legroom for both the front and rear passengers. There's also plenty of cargo room in the back.

"If you are looking to reduce your carbon footprint, or just want to save a few dollars on fuel, yet still appreciate sporty performance in a smaller SUV, the Q5 Hybrid is right up your alley," concludes MSN Autos.
