Stars sell their classic cars at Arizona auction

Movie goers who saw "The Expendables," starring Sylvester Stallone will surely remember the custom-made truck he drove in the film, and now it's been sold, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

The 1955 pickup truck sold for roughly $132,000 at a celebrity car auction in Arizona over the weekend, according to celebrity gossip site TMZ. Four other cars owned by Stallone were sold at the event.

Built at "West Coast Customs," the truck had a new Ford 347cid Edelbrock engine and racing seats. The back hatch had "Ford" stamped on it.

Most interestingly of all is the hidden compartment to store weapons, presumably for the movie in which several faded action stars including Bruce Willis and Mickey Rourke head to South America to take on an evil dictator. Sounds thrilling. We're not sure when the car appears in the film, but TMZ calls the truck "AMAZING," so we'll just have to believe them.

Also sold at the car auction was Alice Cooper's 1969 Chevy Camaro ($95,700), a '76 Cadillac presented to Elvis as a present ($35,200), a 2002 Ford F-150 owned by Evel Knievel ($110,100) and Bret Michaels' 1969 Camaro ($220,000).
