Jay Z receives $1.3 million Bugatti for his Birthday

It must be nice to be hip hop icon Jay Z. In addition to being one of the most prolific and successful artists in any genre, Jay is a highly respected businessman managing his own record, clothing and vodka lines as well as a part ownership of the New Jersey Nets. He is also, of course, married to R&B superstar Beyonce. So what do you get the man who has everything for his 41st birthday? How about a fully loaded Bugatti Veyron sports car, costing upwards of $1.3 million?

The rapper's wife had placed an order for the luxurious car a year prior to the delivery to ensure it was ready.

So what exactly does $1.3 million buy in a car?

The Bugatti Veyron is the fastest street-legal car in the world, earning a place in the Guinness Book of World Records in July 2010. Producing 1,200 hp and hitting 60. in 2.5 seconds, the vehicle, which was named Top Gear's Car of the Decade, has a top speed of 267.81 miles per hour.

While the vehicle's astronomical price tag will prevent most drivers from owning and maintaining the car, Jay Z and Beyonce can most likely afford a few vehicle inspections and oil changes, as Forbes estimates the couple's annual income to have reached $89 million in 2010.
