Sales of the Jeep Wrangler have been so high that Chrysler plans to add more workers to its factory in order to keep up with demand, according to Automotive News. The popular crossover has been flying off the lots, and now the company is looking to increase production so they can achieve even greater sales. The automaker announced it will hire more workers for the Toledo, Ohio, assembly plant, which makes both the Wrangler and Jeep Liberty. Chrysler may also hire additional workers in Warren, Michigan, which will make the new Ram 1500 that is set to debut this fall.Through the first five months of the year, Wrangler sales are up 34 percent compared to 2011. The figures continue to rise as the months go on. The vehicle recently had its best May ever, with a 44 percent increase to nearly 15,000 Wranglers sold. June appears to be primed for similar success, the news source reports."We're on track to have our best month ever for Wrangler in June," Chrysler head of production Reid Bigland told the news outlet.Whether drivers have a Wrangler or any other vehicle, regular auto maintenance is critical to extending its lifespan. Cooling system service is one way drivers can ensure their vehicle remains in tip-top condition and avoids breakdowns.
