Former teen heartthrob and current husband to sexy starlet Sarah Michelle Gellar, Freddie Prinze Jr., may be facing a lawsuit from the man he supposedly rear-ended in a car accident, reports TMZ.The Hollywood news site said it had obtained legal documents that stated Prinze Jr. was driving a car when he supposedly sped unexpectedly into another car stopped at a traffic light in front of him.The driver involved in the crash with Prinze alleges he suffered severe neck injuries from the crash and lost the ability to perform at work, forcing him to lose wages. Reports did not state what the man did for a living, but he claims to have been told to get surgery in order to repair the neck injury. In addition, TMZ reports that the alleged victim did not want to file a suit against Prinze Jr. but had no other option as his insurance company said it would not cover the surgery.Calls to representatives for Prinze Jr. have not been returned, but sources stated that the driver is seeking at least six figures in damages.
