On the sly, Stallone sells his Porsche

March 31, 2011 12:00 AM

Famed action hero Sylvester Stallone is selling is 2010 Porsche Panamera on eBay, reports Celebrity Cars Blog.

The star, who has played lead roles in films like "Rocky," "Rambo," "Cliffhanger" and "Daylight," is working with the Beverly Hills Porsche dealership to complete the transaction. The current bid as of 12:35 EST on March 30, 2011, was $88,100; bidding ends on April 2nd.

According to eBay, the car is an automatic with all-wheel drive and only 5,744 miles on it. The engine is a 4.8-liter V-8 with 400 horsepower and 369 ft-lbs of torque. Fuel economy is good, getting 18 mpg city/26 mpg highway.

The blog site said it had never seen Sly drive around in the Porsche, raising the question of how long the star owned the car before deciding to sell it. The model is a four-door 2010 edition.

MotorTrend states the interior is "simply stunning. Four adults fit comfortably, and the cockpit is beautifully trimmed. Because Porsche hasn't developed a uni-controller (like BMW's iDrive), the dash is bristling with buttons and switches - kind of like having your own Learjet."

The only problem? It's not really the sexiest-looking car ever - but not every auto can be.
