Honda Accord's 2013 model will make its debut nationwide on September 19, and car buyers can expect to find thousands of dollars worth of additional features and technologies.

Every new model of the Accord now comes with improved technology such as a rearview camera and integration capabilities for iPods, internet radio and Bluetooth. Everything from the headlights to the inclusion of alloy wheels for better tires is included in the 2013 model. Motor Trend also reports that the Accord's mileage will be among the top three models for city and highway driving.

"The 2013 Accord excels in all areas with sophisticated design, a luxurious interior, world-class dynamic performance, class-leading standard features and legendary Honda quality, all at a tremendous value for the customer," said John Mendel, Honda's executive vice president of sales. "2012 is the year of the midsize sedan, and the new Accord will once again solidify Honda's position at the head of the pack."

Fuel efficiency, technologies and a host of other additional features will probably keep the Honda Accord near the head of the pack in sales. The automaker hopes that the improvements made to the 2013 will cap off a successful 30th year of Accord production in the United States.
