Motorists are constantly on the lookout for certain aspects of a car that can improve their driving experience. There are dozens of features that can cause an automobile to stand out from its competitors and please drivers in the process, and a recent survey ranked which cars are successful at doing just that.

The AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards recognized a number of vehicles and automakers for their dedication to serving customers. While a variety of cars garnered awards, Cadillac separated itself from the pack by being named the Highest Satisfaction Premium Brand winner, in addition to earning praise for the 2013 Cadillac SRX, which was named the top luxury crossover SUV.

"Cadillac is back," Bob Ferguson, vice president of Global Cadillac, told NBC News. "Our growth is product-driven, [with] new luxury vehicles with dramatic design and performance drawing new customers to showrooms."

These customers are apparently impressed by what they're seeing in the Cadillac dealership, as the automaker has seen its largest sales increase since 1976. Of these purchases, about 70 percent are buying a Cadillac for the first time, the news source reports.

With new technological advancements, improved vehicle maintenance and some special features included in vehicles, Cadillac is poised to have a big 2013.
