Bieber stopped by cops in chrome Karma

Justin Bieber recently had a small run-in with the law after police pulled the teen idol over while he was speeding away from the paparazzi, according to the New York Daily News.

Bieber is hounded by photographers just about everywhere he goes, but he has a set of wheels that can leave them in his eco-friendly dust. The Fisker Karma is a status symbol for celebrities and environmentalists alike, with stars like Ashton Kutcher and Leonardo DiCaprio seen driving them around Los Angeles.

Bieber got his Karma during an episode of the Ellen DeGeneres show. The singer was given the car by his manager as a birthday present. Apparently, Bieber did a bit of routine auto maintenance since then - covering the entire thing in chrome.

Thus, the pop star wasn't exactly inconspicuous as he was speeding down the highway in excess of 100 miles per hour. Bieber was apparently trying to get away from a photographer who was following him.

Yet it was Bieber who was ultimately pulled over in the incident, not the paparazzi. After the incident, Bieber's camp reportedly filed a harassment complaint against the photographer, alleging that he was following Bieber and driving recklessly.
