Former Nickelodeon star Amanda Bynes is facing the possibility of jail time for a series of hit and run accidents. The 26-year-old actress has been involved in several motor vehicle incidents so far in 2012, according to the Los Angeles Times.

In one incident, Bynes rear-ended a Toyota on August 4. The actress claims that she and the driver agreed there was no significant damage and then left. The driver disagrees, and so does the $800 auto repair estimate, according to the news source.

Earlier in the year, Bynes was suspected of a DUI at the time of hitting a police car. In a tweet, the young actress pleaded to President Obama to have the accusing officer fired, reported the news source. Most recently, according to E! Online, she grazed another vehicle with her Range Rover at an intersection in Los Angeles.

Bynes has a September 27 court date, and if convicted, may spend a year in jail, according to The Associated Press.
